We are able to advise you individually on the best approach to good dental health and hygiene. We'll also discuss fully with you the options available for any treatment you may require.
At Hunslet Dental we work work closely with other specialist practices and can recommend the right specialist for any other particular treatment you may need.
We take time to ensure we can offer all our patients the best, and most appropriate routes for ongoing dental care. Hunslet Dental is also a training centre for aspiring Dental Nurses who learn every aspect of the dental industry and within our practice, working closely with the dental nurses and our dentist to help them achieve this goal.

Accessibility
Our practice is fully accessible for disabled patient. At our main door we have a disabled door which can be accessed by ramp for wheelchair users and parents with prams. Our premises has 2 surgeries downstairs and a waiting room to accommodate anyone who are unable to use the stairs, we also have an intercom to let us know you have arrived and a member of staff will get you settled in the waiting room. We have 3 surgeries upstairs, reception and waiting room.

Appointments
We would ask patients to arrive on time for their appointments, as it may not be possible to undertake any treatment planned if you are late.
Anybody under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult in order to give consent. If you are attending the practice and bringing young children, please ensure that they are supervised for the duration of your dental appointment.
Making an appointment
If you ask us for an appointment, we will try to offer you the next available appointment. You can also make an appointment by calling our practice.
We will endeavour to accommodate your requests, but this may not always be possible as our surgery is very busy. Please discuss your options with booking an appointment with our reception.

Cancellations
If you are unable to make or keep your appointment please let us know at least 24 hours in advance so that we can give your appointment to someone else.
Missed appointments wastes NHS time.
If you miss more than 2 appointments without notice we may not be able to complete your treatment or offer you NHS care in the future. Short notice cancellations are deemed failure to attend and will incur the same penalty as missed appointments.
Private patients may be charged for missed appointments or asked to make a deposit.
